You only need a doctor’s note if you are unable to work and are ill for longer than seven calendar days. Your employer will provide you with an SC2 self-certificate form for shorter periods of illness.
The easiest way to request a sick note is to contact us online via an eConsult. Click the button below and choose 'I want administrative help'. Then answer a few questions and get a response from your doctor within three working days.
