If you have been into either Clare House or Bampton recently you may have noticed a few new faces to greet you. Due to natural attrition, and a strong desire to improve our services, we have had a significant recruitment campaign to maintain and grow our team across all areas of the practice. We have been very lucky to have been able to fill all vacancies with the very best candidates from a large field of applicants. Across both practices the reception teams have 8 new team members, and in the coming months 4 new general practitioners and 1 nurse will join us to work with our existing clinical teams. Our medicines management and prescribing team will soon be enhanced with the arrival of Ana Rees our new clinical pharmacist.
Behind the scenes we had to say a very sad farewell to Sarah Backhouse (practice manager at Bampton), and we wish her a very happy and exciting retirement. To maintain a strong management team we welcome Anna Pryce as the new operations manager, who will work across both sites coordinating the everyday functioning of Amicus Health.
A very positive and bright future awaits all our patients as we move forwards through the rising challenges faced by the NHS. We hope that you will be patient while they all undertake the necessary training to be able to fulfil their roles here at Amicus Health and serve you well.
